Project Profile: Nucor Steel, Blytheville, AR

Kelley worked on a ground-up project with Nucor Steel in Blytheville, AR, installing a new coil line that will expand their production capabilities. This expansion allows them to compete in new markets such as roofing, siding, light fixtures and appliances, while strengthening existing markets in garage doors, service centers, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

Kelley wired the power and controls on the arc furnace and all its peripheral equipment, pumps, blowers, and control devices, ensuring it was available for start-up and commissioning at the end of 2021. Kelley had 20 men onsite working six days a week, 10 hours a day into the first quarter of 2022.
