Project Profile: Black Oak Gin, Black Oak, AR

Black Oak Gin was a design-build, ground-up project by Kelley, which took nine months from the notice to proceed to the first bale of cotton. Kelley worked seamlessly with OEM suppliers on the design side to ensure proper load calculations and equipment placement were at the forefront of consideration.

Once construction started, Kelley went to work installing all utilities, secondary duct banks, distribution equipment, motor control centers, power wiring, motor wiring, motor control wiring, control wiring, ethernet cabling, general power and lighting.

Black Oak and Kelley are partners and have been doing business together since 2016, when the gin was founded.
