Our Legacy

1945
Kelley Electric — which originally started as a utility company working on 4kV to 69kV projects — is founded in Kennett, Missouri.
1978
Controls engineering and panel building is introduced to optimize our clients’ electrical and mechanical needs.
1996
Kelley Electric is acquired by The Townsend Corporation (now The Townsend Company, LLC).
2009
We begin implementing process automation.
2021
National Projects and Kansas City presence are established.
