Project Profile: Miller County Gin Co., Colquitt, GA

Process Automation installed the GinManager™ at Miller County Gin Company in 2021. Management also made the decision to upgrade the 25-year-old motor control centers at the same time, utilizing Allen Bradley Centerline ethernet-ready centers.

Company President Brett Davis made his assessment of the electrical systems within the gin and asked Kelley to give him their recommendations and assessment. After comparing the assessments, it was his decision that without these upgrades he could not increase the efficiencies within the ginning processes without a modern integrated control system like the GinManager™.

The Miller County Gin Company is now automated from the module feeder through the press, gaining more control and efficiencies in the ginning processes.
